Christ the Saviour Orthodox Church is a parish of the Orthodox Church in America. We are composed of both converts to the faith and "cradle" Orthodox of various backgrounds. On this website you can learn more about the Orthodox faith, as well as about our community. Visitors are always welcome at Christ the Saviour. Many of us started our journey as “visitors.” We say to all: Come and see! Come and experience the unchanged, ancient Christian faith in the Orthodox Church!  For more information, please contact us, and driving directions to our church are at left.  Click here for our Facebook page, and click here to visit our Hattiesburg, Mississippi Mission.

THE ENTRY OF THE MOST HOLY MOTHER OF GOD INTO THE TEMPLE

"Do not be careless. Pray as much as you can - more frequently and more fervently.
Prod yourself - force yourself to do so, for the Kingdom of God is taken by force.
You will never attain it without forcing yourself."
~ Saint Innocent of Alaska (1797 - 1879) ~
